FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - Boonton Electronics and Willtek Communications

Wireless Telecom Group, Inc. located in Parsippany, New Jersey has an immediate opportunity for a Field Service Technician with our wholly owned subsidiaries Boonton Electronic and Willtek Communications at our Parsippany site.

Responsibilities:

In this role you will use your hands-on skills to repair, service, calibrate, troubleshoot, tune and test both Boonton Electronics and Willtek Communications test equipment. You will interact with Production and Engineering as needed and utilize your knowledge of RF circuitry and electronics. You will perform on-site repairs, services and calibrations for customers. This position involves approximately 20% of travel to domestic customer sites and locations within South America.

Requirements:

We require an ASEE and a basic understanding of electronics. Also required is a good understanding of analog, and digital, RF and MW circuitry and effective trouble shooting skills. Experience with calibrating and troubleshooting down to the component level are required. Basic computer are skills essential. The ability and desire to learn on the job and work independently are also essential. Ability to travel 20 % is required.
