PARSIPPANY, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 26, 2007--
Wireless Telecom Group, Inc. (AMEX: WTT - News ), a worldwide provider of test equipment, today introduced the Noise Com J7000 Jitter Test System, a powerful new test instrument that alters serial signal streams by injecting Gaussian noise in a way that reflects real world signal behavior.
Precise levels of white noise are added to a signal to capture sophisticated technical performance measurements of high-speed serial data busses. By applying this unique Gaussian noise technology, designers of computers, cell phones, entertainment systems, test & measurement equipment and many other products can achieve superior performance at a lower cost with simpler circuit layout.
The Company included key customers early in the development process to ensure the Noise Com J7000 would fit their specific application requirements and integrate easily into their development and manufacturing workflows. First orders were shipped earlier this quarter and the product is generally available through its worldwide distribution network.
Monty Johnson, CEO of Wireless Telecom Group, stated, "The J7000 Jitter Test System is the first product in an exciting application-specific portfolio of noise-based test instruments we are bringing to market. By adapting the capabilities of our popular EbNo and UFX series to be easily integrated into our customers' development and manufacturing applications, we continue to make the use of complex noise techniques easy for our customers to apply."
Continues Johnson, "We have been very successful providing our customers with right fit solutions for the cellular, radar, radio, satellite, and military communication markets. We are expanding the use of our RF digital signal generation and processing technology with the J7000 to provide test instruments to companies focused on the design and manufacture of high performance computing equipment."
